Bookkeeper

Location: Central Bath

Hours: 6-7.5 hours per week, with term-time flexibility if required

 

Job Function: To maintain accurate financial records and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.  The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing book keeping, VAT matters, preparing financial statements, and ensuring all financial operations are carried out in compliance with statutory legislation.

 

Key Responsibilities: Manage all bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, receivables, and payroll. Prepare accurate financial statements for the company's accountant's review. Ensure financial records are kept up to date with the latest transactions and changes. Monitor financial transactions and reports. Process taxes and prepare tax returns with meticulous attention to detail. Utilise accounting software (Xero and Float) and MS Excel to maintain records and create reports. Contribute to the development of financial strategies and systems.

 

Key Requirements: Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Xero and Float. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Professional demeanour with a proactive and ambitious work ethic. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Relevant certification (e.g., AAT) or equivalent experience.

Part 1 and Part 2 Architectural Assistant 
 

Position: Full-Time Architectural Assistant 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week 

Location: Central Bath

Must have a valid driving license. 

 

As leading architectural practice based in a beautiful central location Bath we are looking for Part I and Part II Architectural Assistants to join our growing team.

This is a perfect opportunity for an ambitious, passionate and responsible individual to contribute towards delivering high quality, efficient architectural designs within a varied range of sectors.

A successful applicant would be a key part of the Inspire family and be expected to liaise with other consultants, demonstrate technical understanding and participate in every aspect of a project from conception to completion.

 

Key Requirements

  • ARB Part I or Part II qualified or equivalent

  • Highly proficient at Autodesk AutoCAD with a good knowledge of Autodesk Revit.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Good experience in using Adobe Photoshop with a keen eye for graphics.

  • Competent using Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word, Outlook and Excel.

  • Knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and Standards.

  • Be presentable and confident in facing clients and keen to work in teams.

  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.

 

You Will:  Collaborate with a dynamic team to develop and create architectural solutions which are exciting, engaging, and efficient. Produce detailed architectural drawings and 3D visualisations using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. Navigate project challenges directly with a problem-solving mindset. Contribute to the success of the practice with a blend of technical skill and creative vision. Work closely with other consultants to coordinate drawing and model pre-construction information.
